Jaret Reddick
In 2024, I reached out to Jaret Reddick, lead singer and guitarist of one of my favourite bands, Bowling for Soup. They were coming through town on their upcoming tour, and I offered to build him a guitar and hand deliver it when they played in Edmonton. To my surprise, he responded, and we were able to flesh out a plan for a guitar inspired by the one he used to record 3 albums. We created a PRS 22 inspired semi-hollow, with a carved top. Maple burl for the top and back, sandwiching a magnolia body. Roasted maple neck and an ebony fretboard, highlighted by mother of pearl inlays. Jaret opted for a set of PRS 85/15s, which make this beauty sing in the hands of a real player like Jaret. I had the opportunity to meet Jaret and the rest of the band backstage and deliver the guitar, which was an amazing experience. Thank you so much, Jaret, for letting me make you this one-of-a-kind instrument.
